We first want to take a moment to say thank you for all of the lives you are saving by #saferathome and #stayhomesavelives. This is helping to stop the spread of this virus and enabling the infectious disease doctors to concentrate on finding a cure, rather than tending to sick patients.
With that being said, we at Summit Home Inspection are trying to take every safety precaution to do our part with continuing to be an essential industry, but keeping the virus at bay.
We have established a new protocol for the COVID-19 Pandemic. We ask that you follow some simple rules, detailed below, while we are performing your home inspection.
Thank you for all of your understanding during this difficult time. We know home buying is an exciting time for everyone, however we must strictly adhere to the COVID-19 Safety Guidelines to prevent the spread.
We ask that anyone NOT necessary at the inspection, please refrain from being on the property. This may mean clients that do not feel well or high-risk, any and all family members not directly connected to the purchase of the property (mom, dad, uncle, brother, etc).
If you MUST be on site, we ask that you remain outside of the home or inside your vehicles throughout the duration of the inspection. If there are any major deficiencies that require your attention, the inspector will take video or FaceTime with the clients to understand the item in question.
If you are on site and out of your vehicle, we ask that you please wear protective equipment or adhere to the 6-ft social distancing rule. The inspector will be wearing safety equipment along with sanitizing products to ensure the safety of the homeowners and themselves.
